About Us

Wim and I (Jabu) have been happily married for nearly 30 years, and counting.

We are both devout and practicing Christians. Our faith has been the bedrock of our relationship

We were born in Zimbabwe and moved to settle in the UK 16 years ago. We have been blessed with two adult children, Tim and Nomsa, who have both flown the nest. (Be on the lookout – we may have both, or at least one of them, writing a guest blog here later – of course, they are part of the family!)

I am an electrical engineer by profession and Wim is a nurse.

The purpose of this blog is to share our experienences over the years and hopefully encourage and inspire those thinking about marriage or already married, to ensure that we all can have fulfilling relationships. We both believe that there is something we can all do to make our relationships better.

We also believe that the issues we will discuss here will be relevant to everyone who is part of a family be it spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent etc.
